The Village Hall is a multi purpose hall which can be hired for children's parties, meetings, club or society events, quiz nights etc.  There is a small kitchen area for food preparation, male & female toilets, and trestle tables and chairs.  The maximum number that can be seated around tables is about 70.  There are numerous power points and ample heating.  There is no dedicated parking facility.  For more information, to arrange a visit or make a booking, please contact either Kate Gibson (01304 840214) or Wendy Phillips (01304 842991) for details.

The hall hire rate for 2009 is as follows:

For residents of Chillenden:  £5/hr - for each hour up to three hours
                                            £25 for any event over 3 hrs
                                            (all rates inclusive of electricity and heating)

For hirers outside the village:    As per the above rates + 50%   

There is an ongoing programme of works for the complete renovation and of the hall, funded by the Chillenden Rainbow Appeal Fund, and we are part way through.  The walls have been replastered and painted and floor has been stripped and re-sealed, however the kitchen and toilets are awaiting further refurbishment.
