Church services at All Saints

Following the relaxation of most of the legal requirements for social distancing and wearing of face we have re-started normal services at All Saints every 2nd and 4th Sundays of the month at 9am.  We are still very mindful of the continuing high levels of infections in our area despite the success of the vaccination, booster and flu programmes.  As a result we have recently reviewed our risk assessment and have updated out service format accordingly.  See here for what to expect.

Goodnestone will have their services on the 1st and 3rd Sundays of the month at 9am.

All Saints will continue to be opened on Saturdays and Sundays for visits and private prayer.

We will also continue to hold live-streaming services every Sunday at 11am.  Virtual services. These can be accessed on YouTube or Facebook, and watched at anytime.

All Saints Church, Chillenden

The historic Church of All Saints in Chillenden dates back to 1180 and has been a place of Christian worship ever since, serving the immediate parish.  It has a Norman doorway, a Jacobean pulpit and an intricate chancel screen by Sir George Gilbert Scott.  With seating for some 60 places in the congregation is a delightful village church which welcomes all to its services.

All Saints is part of the Canonry Benefice encompassing the neighbouring parishes of Ash, Goodnestone, Nonington, Preston and Elmstone.  More information on the Canonry Benefice can be found here.  Please also visit the Benefice website for more information, and for links to the other parishes.
