Sinderella Pantomime - 2-4 October 2008

Scenes from the Chillenden Village production of Sinderalla - and complex tale of simple folk! The pantomime was specially written for us by ex resident and Dover vet Jonathan Stirling, and was produced by David Tingey and Carey Newton. The cast & crew were recruited almost entirely from volunteers from the village (talent had nothing to do with it!). The idea of the pantomime was launched on 1st January 2008 and rehearsals started in March. Three shows were put on at the beginning of October 2008. Over 260 people attended the shows and over £3,500 was raised in aid of the Chillenden Rainbow Appeal, with funds targeted for improvement works to the village hall. Apparently they never laughed so much......
